Crushtomize is a creative studio for music artists. We build the cover art, motion visuals and full brand identities that make independent releases feel like cultural moments.
Our story
It started with one cover and a favour.
In 2018, a single artwork for a friend’s mixtape turned into a waitlist. Word moved through the scene the way it always does — fast, and only if the work is real.
Eight years on, we’re a tight crew of designers, animators and rollout strategists who’ve shipped over a thousand releases for artists in 20+ countries.
We never became a factory. We still take on a handful of artists each quarter, and every cover still gets made like it’s the one that breaks them.
The mission
Give every independent artist a major-label look — without the major-label leash.
Great music gets buried under bad visuals every day. We exist to close that gap: to make sure the first thing someone sees is as strong as the first thing they hear.
What makes us different
Not a freelancer. Not an agency. A studio.
Culture-first
We live in the music we design for. No stock-photo studios pretending to get it.
Fast, not rushed
Tight timelines built around release dates — most covers land in 7–10 days.
Full ownership
You walk away with the files, the rights and a system you can run yourself.
Built to convert
Every visual is designed for the thumbnail, the feed and the stream — not just the portfolio.
How we work
From first brief to final pressing.
01
Discovery
We dig into the sound, the references and the world you’re building. You send the music; we send back questions most designers never ask.
Week 1 · Brief & moodboard
02
Direction
Two or three distinct visual directions, each with its own type, palette and energy. We agree on one before a single final pixel is placed.
Week 1–2 · Concepts
03
Production
We build the chosen direction to a finish: cover art, motion, social cut-downs and a brand sheet that keeps everything consistent.
Week 2–3 · Design & motion
04
Delivery
Print-ready masters, platform-ready exports and the source files — packaged so your DSPs, press and merch all pull from one system.
Week 3 · Handoff & rollout
